With decades of experience and deep roots in the Bay Area, Dr. Paula Roemer is dedicated to helping patients achieve healthy, beautiful smiles. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from the University of the Pacific before completing her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) in 1985. Her extensive clinical training included clerkships in Oral Surgery and Orthodontics, complementing her strong foundation in general dentistry.
From 1989 to 2006, Dr. Roemer built a successful private practice in Oakland, growing it into a thriving $1.2 million enterprise. In 2005, she brought her passion for patient-centered care to Walnut Creek by opening Smile! Walnut Creek, now known as Olympic Dental Walnut Creek.
Dr. Roemer believes that ideal dental health is the foundation of a confident smile and overall well-being. She is committed to helping families achieve lasting oral health through a blend of advanced techniques and compassionate care. A certified Invisalign provider since 2005, she also has decades of experience in implant dentistry and completed advanced cosmetic training through the prestigious PAC~Live program.
She is a dedicated member of the Contra Costa Dental Society, the California Dental Association, and a lifetime member of the American Dental Association.
Outside the office, Dr. Roemer enjoys gardening, practicing Pilates, taking walks, and learning to play water polo. Most of all, she treasures time with her family and eight beloved grandchildren.
